Matthew B. W. Sheehan

Matthew B.W. Sheehan is an award-winning storyteller and visual artist living and working in Los Angeles, CA. He holds a Masters of Fine Art in Animation from The University of California Los Angeles’ School of Theatre, Film, and Television, a BA in Animation and Visual Effects from The University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, and an AA in Fine Art from Santa Monica College. He is a 2020 and 2021 Card Walker Motion Picture Fellowship and 2020 and 2021 Matt Groening Production Fellowship in Animation recipient, a Santa Monica College Arts Mentor program alum, and a 2020 Writer’s Guild Foundation Veterans Writing Project alum. His focus is on creating cinematic moments with big bright characters using every tool available in the filmmaking landscape. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television.
